We hope that you enjoy coming to Greatwood and meeting all the animals. Nearly all of our animals have been rescued and so need lots of time and care to feel happy again.

At Greatwood you might:

• Brush the ponies and horses
• Clean out the goats
• Feed the hens and geese
• Walk the dogs
• Sweep the stables and yard
• Look for dangers on the farm
• Watch the horses being worked
• Look for mammals and insects in the meadows
• Build dens in the woods

You do not need any expensive equipment or clothes when coming to Greatwood. Make sure that you are wearing old comfortable clothes, as you may get dirty! Wellington boots are a good idea along with a warm, waterproof coat.
