Why Choose Greatwood

Greatwood’s educational programs are inclusive and are designed for young people aged 5-24 with cognitive, physical, emotional and social challenges or disabilities.

Greatwood is a Wiltshire Council accredited Alternative Provider of Special Educational Needs and Disability programmes and Provider of Positive Activities for Young People.

Greatwood’s variety of educational programmes prepare young people for life in and out of the workplace by helping them to learn life and study skills; as well as personal development and employability skills; achieve a nationally accredited qualification; and ultimately assist them in achieving independence in adulthood.

Greatwood’s educational programmes are accredited by the National Open College Network (NOCN), 1st4Sport or City and Guilds (in partnership with Abingdon and Witney College) - qualifications offer a step-by-step, unit-by-unit route into learning and skills that help to increase learners’ confidence and employability and make sure that the qualifications fit with today’s industry needs.

Whichever of the programmes each learner at Greatwood is enrolled on, we work towards individual targets to make their futures bright and aspirational.
