At Greatwood we recognise that losing a loved one is a difficult time for everybody. Sadly our loved ones do die. Perhaps at this time you might consider asking for donations to Greatwood in their memory in lieu of flowers?

Perhaps you are celebrating a special birthday or anniversary? Why not ask friends and family to make a donation to Greatwood instead of buying a gift?

If you would like to do this then please contact us or ring us on 01672 514535

If you cannot make a donation online then please download our Donation & Gift Aid form and post to us.

Alternatively call us on 01672 514535 (Mon - Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm) to process your donation. We accept all major debit / credit cards.

Gift Aid

Your donations will be even more valuable to us (at no extra cost to you) if you complete a gift aid declaration form. Providing you pay tax of an equivalent amount or more, you can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate. It's a big help so thank you. If you pay higher rate tax, you can reclaim the difference through your tax return.

Share and share alike

You could also donate shares or land to Greatwood. Perhaps just a small holding of shares which are not worth selling because it would cost more than they are worth or a larger share holding or piece of land. It's another tax efficient way of helping us.

Call us on 01672 514535 (Mon - Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm) to process your donation. We accept all major debit / credit cards.

Why not ask your employer to deduct an agreed amount from your salary each month? Ask your colleagues to do the same. This is tax free and easy. A regular donation is deducted directly from your salary before tax is deducted. If you want to give Greatwood a gift of £10 a month then you only pay £8.00 and the taxman adds £2.00 to give the full £10. If you are a high rate tax payer then it will only cost you £6.00.

Double Up

Some employers offer “matched giving” schemes where they match or double your gift at no extra cost to you.

How to Set it Up

Ask your HR or Payroll department what type of scheme they offer. Decide how much you can afford to give and complete the straightforward form. You may need to tell your department the following:
